Who we are?
Yes Friends exists to make ethical clothing affordable and transform the fashion industry. Small goals.
On 7th April, we launched Yes Friends with our first pre-order campaign, selling over 4,000 T-shirts. We were featured in The Guardian and The Independent, and backed by over 100 MPs and peers in a letter to fast fashion giants.
It’s been a wild ride.
We’re now getting ready to launch our new online store, our first Christmas ad and release new products. It’s go, go, go. So we’re looking for an excellent individual to join our tiny team.
Operations & Customer Service Associate
This position will be extremely varied. The core of the role will be operations & customer service. You will be the first point of contact for customers whilst also overseeing logistics. The two aspects of the role are strongly intertwined as you will have an in-depth view of deliveries, operations and returns, enabling you to provide excellent customer support.
As with every start-up this will be a hands on role, where you’ll also get stuck into a variety of day-to-day tasks providing business support to our founder. This could be anything from finding models for a photoshoot to sourcing a payroll supplier. Being able to take responsibility and ownership of tasks will be essential.
You’ll be a detail oriented person, with a logical approach to tasks. You’re the sort of person who loves spending time on spreadsheets. And loves making and ticking off things on a to-do list. You’ll also be friendly and approachable, creating a positive company culture will come naturally to you.
- Good working knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent written English
- Working knowledge of social media platforms
- Quick learner of new software platforms
- Experience of working in logistics/distribution
- Experience using Shopify
- Experience using Xero
A Few Details:
£12 per hour. 15 hours per week. Fixed-term contract, mid-October to end of December.
Location: Bristol. Remote work applications accepted, but must be willing to travel to Bristol occasionally to visit our logistics partner.
